Edgeworthia chrysantha yellow flower cluster

A winter bloomer, this is the Edgeworthia chrysantha/ Edgeworthia papyrifera or Oriental paperbush. A shrub native to the Himalayas and China, it has clusters of tiny yellow florets which appear out of bare stems. They are very fragrant too. This macro image was taken on a sunny March afternoon.
